I’m a private person. Overtime I developed the courage to share my story in hopes to help others that are struggling.
Diagnosed stage 2, invasive ductal carcinoma, at 40 yrs young.
This was one of the hardest times of my life. Although I am moving forward, I have learned to look back at that time as a period of strength and courage. Fighting for my life is a motivator to persevere and keep all things in perspective. It’s a reminder that time is not promised and to embrace all days and encourage others to do the same. The experience has taught me empathy and compassion. You never know what those around you may be going through. Be kind, always.
