My friend Amber was told she has Invasive Ductal Carcinoma & Ductal Carcinoma in Situ in her left breast during her very first routine mammogram in July 2022. She made the difficult decision to have her left breast removed and underwent surgery on October 13th. Surgery went well but she is waiting on her full pathology report which will indicate her stage and next course of treatment. Amber is a mother of two little girls and has always been one of the strongest women I have ever met!
